I think the oldest things I own are some Japanese coins from the Edo and Meiji Dynasties…which are pretty damn old. But 10,000 years - could that be the time required for an evolutionary change? May not be as drastic as growing tails or opposable thumbs...but, say...white skin to darker skin (as a species). In a generational sense, I would think so. All you evolutionary anthropologists, don't all speak at once.
If I look at the calendar once more, I'm setting it on fire. I'm leaving for France in 14 days and that's all I can look at..."Dept. for France...Dept. for France" written in small, black ink. I think I look more French now, than at any point in my entire life. Now that's saying something.
