The weekend in Savannah was surprisingly tame...dinners and drinks and the like. Did see a Tibetan Sand Mandala at the Telfair Museum of Art. Try to find one of these and watch the construction...makes you appreciate patience. As the picture on the linked site displays...these 4 lamas (monks) work in shifts to complete the mandala from memory. It takes 10 years of study to earn the position of "mandala artist" - I just want to learn how they do that voice / harmony modulation trick...
