Oops...back to the "once every 3 weeks update" again. My apologies.

In more painful news, I've managed to injure my Achillie's on my right foot. To be specific - I have minor tearing and a general sprain...it all adds up to one big ouch. I'm not on crutches (a debate in some circles), but I'm wearing this ankle wrap like a champ.

The second group on "soon to be named record label" came out of the studio last Thursday. 8 days have created some pretty powerful and amazing rock opera by Oliver Future. Ok, so it's more rock than opera...but the boys do succeed at being grandios and over the top. More work occurs this weekend...look for media onslaught in Sept / Oct.

Shane Bartell is also doing well...enjoying the sanctuary that is the Kerrville Folk Festival and resting up for a West Coast leg starting June 9th. East Coast dates start in July. As always...go to www.shanebartell.com for the dates.

While driving on the New York Toll this week, I noticed something strange and disturbing in the toll booth. As the fella was giving me change for my $2.15 trip...I saw a box hanging inside the toll booth. It was the size and shape of a First Aid kit - but was labeled "Bloodborne Pathogen Kit." Now...when I read that, I think it's a kit to use in case someone infects you with a bloodborne pathogen. Think about it - hand out a ticket, give change and someone sticks you with a seringe, claws you with some Lee Press On's and you have to reach for the biohazard kit. You think they talk about this possibility during the Tool Booth workers' training orientation? Wow...strange times.
