Intuition is a very strange thing. August 7th was a very bad omen day...it was the day I was fired from my project in DC. I wasn't fired from my job, just the project I was working on. Strange effect being fired...more on that later.

In the month since I've been gone, I can tell you that both records are now on 1/4" tape and being shipped for mastering. 10 days for that process, 14 days for reproduction and Shazzam!...we have 2 records. The Oliver Future release date / show is November 8th. Still waiting from the Shane Bartell camp to decide their date - but his record will be available for your Christmas and Chanukah shopping.

The Kerrville Wine and Music Festival was great as always. There's nothing more satisfying that taking an open air shower at midnight in September, or sharing a bottle of Dom Peringnon with your team - straight from the bottle.

As fate would have it, I've ended up in the Chicago area for the next 9 months. I would say I'm back in the old neighborhood - but the old neighborhood is 45 minutes away. I'm going to be living and working in Naperville, which is "Baby Central" for all you interested breeders. The downtown features 2 stroller stores, 1 running store with the latest "mommy and daddy" running technology, 2 fertility specialists, 2 "yoga for expectant mothers" classes per day and 1 breastfeeding expert. Within 10 seconds on the street, I counted 14 strollers...full.
