You're a witch if I've ever known one...
What's 4 years between friends?

I sometimes think that things become real when some says them. These can be facts, or they can be lies...and the more someone says something with emphasis, the more believable they want to sound (and want you to believe them). In many relationships (plutonic and romantic) and businesses (plutonic and romantic), something spoken is received at face value - most likely true, but wait for the delivery.

In this music business, not so much. Many things that are said are not deliberate lies...but they are "wouldn't it be nice if this happened on this date" type of mental contracts. I've stubed my toe more than a few times in the last 2 months trying to understand this style of business and communication.

That being said - I can announce: Oliver Future's self titled debut will be released on November 4th. Get your copy at Waterloo, 33 Degrees, Jupiter, Amoeba, (insert local record store here), and on-line at The Connextion.

However, the Oliver Future release show will not be until December 5th - maybe. See...frustrating.

To bring us back to positivo - the New Music Festival up in Dallas was fun and exciting. Fun for the 75 people in each club listening to the performers...and exciting for the 300 people outside each club who get to dress and act like rock and roll trip and falls. The picture is fuzzy, but that is Oliver Future on stage at the Liquid Lounge - and me on drums.
