You're a witch if I've ever known one...
What's 4 years between friends?

What's the most nerve wracking part of the working year? The few days right before holiday. Yes, I said holiday - that's the consequence of working with British and French folk. It was "vacation" when I heard the Go-Go's sing it...but ever since 1997, it's been "holiday."

I'm rushing and trying to get stuff completed, so when I come back...I'm not walking back into a minefield of "Why wasn't this done before you left?" And blaming some anonymous person for non-completion NEVER works.

France is out, so I'm headed back to Savannah for another road trip of the South. I have no idea why I love driving hours and hours in the South...but I do. I think it's the crude, religious road signs that say things like "Hell is Hot!" or seeing grimy, redneck kids on BMX bikes racing into the Stop and Shop and fighting over who gets to make the first "suicide."

I'm picking up wine from The Honky, who's been graciously guarding my small collection for a while now, and making stops in Atlanta, Memphis, Oxford, New Orleans, Lake Charles and Houston...on the way back to Bandera. Where...

I will have Thanksgiving, then pack up the car with warm clothes and some small furniture and begin my move to Chicago! Short term (for now)...but it may be in the cards for longer.

On the way to Chicago, I'll be making a stop in Fort Worth with Oliver Future. They are playing the Aardvark on Thursday night, November 27th - 12 mid. By that time of night, you will be REALLY ready to get away from the fam damily. So...come out; it's your first opportunity to buy the record at a live show. I promise; you will have more fun listening and dancing with us than playing ANOTHER game of scrabble.
