You have to raise an eyebrow when your first record arrives on Halloween. Amid the ripping of plastic and high fives, we were also getting ready for the events of the evening. All thoughts of making an early night were dashed when I got the phone call, "Dude...we need a 4th for the Clockwork Orange guys and you're it." One trip to Mr. Walton's ultra-mega and I was dressed the part - jock strap and all.
The art work on the record looks more amazing in person, than on screen. The insert is flawless; the record sounds amazing...everything is a "go." The next obvious question is "when?" I can tell you the local release and show will be in December...the national release in February. The website to "pre-order" is coming up in the next 2 weeks and I will include that link here. If you really can't wait that long....send me an email and we can work something out.

One of the dedications we mentioned is to Johnny Cash. All of us respect this man...this maverick and he passed on the last day of mixing the record. That day, I heard an interview with him on Fresh Air - the Terri Gross program on NPR. The interview was good, but the best part was at the end. When Terri was finishing up and thanking Mr. Cash, Johnny said..."You know, I've done a lot of these and this was one of the most fun. You're really good at what you do." At this, Terri was almost speechless.
What a fantastic compliment...to be told by a master, that you are really good at what you do. We could all only be so lucky.
